Friday 13th July 2018
The Big Bang @ Sutton Grammar
Fun-filled theatre shows, hands-on exhibits, interactive workshops and a wide range of careers information from local and national employers are just some of the things you can expect to find at The Big Bang Fair at Sutton Grammar School on Friday, July 13.
Make newspaper as strong as steel with the Institution of Civil Engineers and the STIXX machine, control your own robots with Real Robots Live, or find out about the underground world of mail rail.
There will be a programme of workshops throughout the day, including a CSI challenge, animation creation and robotics as well as the chance to enjoy a show.
The fairs are part of a UK-wide programme led by Engineering UK to bring science and engineering to life and inspire young people to think about following a STEM (science, technology, engineering and maths) career.
Open to students aged 10 to 19, the event runs from 10am to 3.30pm.
Venue: Sutton Grammar School, Manor Lane, Sutton, SM1 4AS
